1. Aurora Excalibur

Rancangan awal senjata ini selesai pada Maret dan prototipe senjata ini tersedia pada maret 2012.

Militer Amerika Serikat (AS) menguji sebuah versi Railgun pada 2008 lalu. Senjata ini dapat mempercepat kecepatan proyektil menjadi 2,4 kmh (tujuh kali kecepatan suara). Versi sempurna senjata ini akan siap antara 2020-2025 mendatang.

DARPA mengeluarkan dana sebesar US$ 6 juta (Rp 53,7 miliar) untuk proyek menciptakan mikroorganisme ‘yang diprogram hidup selamanya’. Kemampuan manuver tak terprediksi misil ini membuatnya mampu menghindari radar. Debut senjata ini belum diketahui.

9. Hybrid Insect MEMS (HI-MEMS)

HI-MEMS terdiri dari setengah serangga, dan setengan mesin. Pertama, sistem mikro-mekanis ditempatkan di dalam serangga selama masa metamorfosis. Serangga ini beroperasi seperti mobil remote control.
